a little about me
Through local to national speaking engagements and global publications, I’ve seized the opportunity to educate about anxiety and depression, mental health and therapy, and overcoming stigma against mental illness, particularly in the Black community. In the spirit of education, I additionally supervise pre-licensed clinicians' therapy services and teach other current or aspiring clinicians how to find success in private practice so that they can meet their income goals, ideal schedule, and ultimate work-life balance.
DR. KAHINA
THROUGH STRENGTH-BASED & SOLUTION-FOCUSED THERAPY
I help Black women who are struggling with anxiety to learn more adaptive ways to think and interact with the world. This allows them to clear their minds of intrusive, anxious thoughts, and begin feeling more in control of their minds and quality of life. I take pride in the fact that I specialize in using scientifically researched methods that are evidenced to result in long-term change and improved mental health.
